Business

I've worked on the founder's side of the table.

I co-founded Parallel18, Puerto Rico's startup accelerator. Since then, the accelerator's portfolio has grown to more than 400 startups, which together have raised more than $300 million; those are Parallel18's numbers, not mine. In practice I guide startup clients through their capital raises and serve as fractional general counsel to growing companies.

Puerto Rico

I've worked on Puerto Rico's incentive system from inside government.

I served as Under Secretary of Economic Development and as COO of the Puerto Rico Science & Technology Trust, and I co-founded Parallel18. I'm licensed in Puerto Rico, so the Act 60 decree and the entity behind it are handled by the same lawyer.

Immigration

I handle immigration cases nationwide, in English and Spanish.

I advise founders, investors, and companies on business immigration, including E-2 investor visas, O-1 visas for founders and others with extraordinary ability, and employment-based cases. I also represent families in green card, citizenship, waiver, and humanitarian cases.
